Thomas Parks - Founder and CEO

I have over 25 years of experience in the firearms and security industry, specializing in firearms training and tactical skills instruction. My background includes 10 years with the NASA KSC SWAT team and 5 years as a Dept of State Range Master and Firearms Instructor in Baghdad. Additionally, I have spent 10 years as a private Firearms and Tactics Instructor, providing active shooter training and home defense courses. I am also an NTOA Shoot House Instructor and an NRA Range Safety Officer. My qualifications include serving as the Dept of State Lead Special Skills Instructor, Tactical Skills Instructor, and Protective Operations Instructor. Furthermore, I hold a South Carolina concealed Armed License and a Citizen Response to Active Shooter Events Instructor(CRASE)

Adam Sims - Instructor

I offer a unique skillset as an operator and instructor in areas including Urban and Wilderness SAR, Man Tracking, and Advanced Patient Stabilization and Extraction. My expertise extends to High Angle Advanced Ropes and Rigging, Basic and Advanced Nonexplosive Breaching, and Advanced Vehicle Anatomy. Additionally, I provide Hazardous Material Ops (CBRN) training and specialize in Mission Specific Curriculum Development. My tactical skills instruction also includes active shooter training, firearms training, force on force training, Citizen Response to Active Shooter Events Instructor (CRASE) and home defense courses, ensuring comprehensive preparation for any scenario.

• Retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer, Lead Use of Force Instructor with 25+ years of service in law enforcement and emergency services. Experienced former US Air Force and WV State Police Emergency Services Team Member / Leader. Skilled in conducting criminal investigations and leading personnel during tactical operations such as active shooter response, civil unrest including riots, hazardous material incidents, and medical emergencies. Proficient in motorcade / armed convoy details and providing personal protection for high-value individuals, including the Chief of Staff of the Army and the US Ambassador to Egypt, with additional expertise in force on force training and home defense courses.

Active Shooter / Attacker Training

We offer an active shooter program that is based on what a citizen can do to increase the odds of survival. Our program offers the flexibility to offer our training to business owners, corporate entities as well as the person that is caught in an event.

Tactical Citizen Series

This unique series of firearms training courses will provide students with the flexibility to train according to their individual abilities. To begin, the courses will focus on handgun, shotgun, or M4 style rifle specifics. Starting at a novice level, each class will progressively introduce more technical and physically demanding training, including active shooter training and home defense courses. Additionally, training will encompass defensive tactics, stop the bleed techniques, and force on force training applications, ensuring comprehensive tactical skills instruction.

Force on Force Training

We offer force on force training utilizing the Unit 4 training systems, focusing on enhancing tactical skills instruction. Our programs can be customized to meet a company or department's specific needs, including active shooter training, firearms training, and home defense courses.

Home Defense

We can come to your home and assist you in designing a defense plan tailored to your specific needs. Through our active shooter training and firearms training programs, we utilize Unit 4 training rifles to run scenarios inside your home, ensuring that your plan is effective. Our home defense courses and tactical skills instruction provide you with the necessary skills for real-life situations, including force on force training.

Mobile Training Team

We offer the flexibility to bring our active shooter training and firearms training directly to you. All we need is a range suitable for our force on force training or a building where we can utilize the Unit 4 rifles during our home defense courses and tactical skills instruction.
